I am respectfully asking for your vote and support on November 2nd as a candidate for Sussex County Freeholder.

When Freeholder Director Jeff Parrott invited me to be his running mate, he explained that he had contacted me because of my reputation, and my many years of experience as a volunteer on numerous Municipal and County Committees. He also suggested that I write a resume.

It was during that process when I realized that through the years, unintentionally, I’ve prepared myself for this job by always being concerned, active and involved with local and County issues. I pay attention to what is happening in our community, and I volunteer my time to do what I can to make a difference.

I am and have always been an involved citizen. I want to be more involved as your elected Freeholder. I wish to use all I’ve learned through the years to help keep Sussex County safe, clean, and most importantly, affordable. It is my desire to make our County an even better place to live. I have the time, energy and experience, and I will make a difference.

We are all aware that New Jersey is in a state of financial crisis. We all have to do our part to Save New Jersey. I want to do my part by solving problems at the County level, with common sense, long-term solutions.

I am excited and enthusiastic about this opportunity. I would appreciate your vote to allow me to serve as your Sussex County Freeholder.

Thank you,
Richard Vohden
